Caregiver Support Group
VNA Care Network & Hospice hosts a free caregivers support group in the spring and fall at Traditions of Dedham, 735 Washington St., Dedham (directions).
The group offers education and support for adults caring for someone with Alzheimer's or other memory loss disorders. Topics to be covered by the group include Caring for the Caregiver, How to Communicate With Persons Who Have Memory Loss, Dealing With Common Behavioral Problems, Caregivers: Coping With Depression, Adapting the Home/Decisions on Long-Term Care Needs, and Coping With Physical Deterioration.
